Hello. I’m Julie Gabrielle Anne. I’m a young writer armed with laptop, pen, and paper and no one set-in-stone goal. I live in Tennessee but I promise I’m not a hick. I was born in California, actually, so I love sun, sand, and the ocean. Here in TN, I make do with a lake.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember – short stories, poems, rants, book reports; all things random. I wrote a family newsletter once that I like to think a few people enjoyed. Now I write mostly novels and papers for school. If I’m not writing I’ll be reading, talking with my friends, or hanging out with my crazy and wonderful family. I have a dog, Matthew, who is first and foremost an obsessive drooler, and a black Labrador-Golden Retriever mix second.
As I write this, my adorable nephew Ezekiel is trying to escape from his playpen. He’s six and a half months old. Judging by his various growls and the head butting he’s using to attempt escape, he must think he’s some sort of wild animal.
Besides writing, I love gymnastics. I’m an avid reader and I love music of all kinds. Except country. I’m a huge movie fan and I’d watch Pirates of the Caribbean, the Bourne Trilogy, and Inside Man all day long. I also enjoy horseback riding, looking up words in other languages, and playing badminton with my siblings. That is utterly hilarious, as we all run around swinging our rackets and hitting nothing.
Some other things about me: I believe in God. I’m a proud 2010 graduate. I wear a size 12 sneaker. I’m seventeen and my birthday is in August. I love Justin Bieber’s music. My favorite color is purple. My greatest fear is of a little kid slamming their finger in a door, I kid you not. I have six Breyer horse models. I’ve petted a baby lynx. I named the anaconda, the one at the Nashville Zoo, Gabrielle. My favorite food is fried pork chops/chicken and barbecued ribs. I have braces and I hate them.
And that’s all there is to me!
