Lord of The Rings?

Wow, I feel really left out. Just kidding. Anyhow (my favorite word, in case you didn’t know) on every blog I visit I see Lord of The Rings. I started reading Fellowship of the Ring but – sorry, LOTR lovers – it was sooo boring. Am I missing something? I’ve always been more of a book girl than a movie girl, although I think I’ll watch the movie. What’s up? Somebody please tell me what I’m missing.

  1. I feel the same way. I wasn't ever able to get through The Fellowship either. But I loved The Hobbit and I recommend the movies as well.

  2. I agree with J.R. the Hobbit is the best. I read the Fellowship because I was just in the mood for something heavy- and you have to be in that sort of mood to dedicate the time and uh- mentality to that book! The movies are wonderful- glorious horses- superb music- the movies are mainly what we seem to obsess over on blogger. :) Thanks tons for following my blog, and good luck with your summer plans as well!

  5. I know what you mean. I read the Hobbit first and loved it. Then I read Fellowship of the Ring. I can usually read any book in 2 to 4 days (big books I mean) and that fellowship of the ring took me a month!
I asked my friend if it was that way for her too (she LOVES LotR) and she said yes.
Its not that I didn't Like the book, it was just hard to get through it. Reeaaally long talks by one person then after 2 pages you're like "wait who's talking again"
When I finally got through the 1st book I was ready for the rest, but they were overdue at the library =P
    ah well
I start the rest of them...later.

    Awesome blog by the way.
I'm not too much into horses but I still like reading about them.
I Really think your story is a good one. I like the whole CAD thing. That would be hard to live with but funny at times to read about.

    keep at it.
